I Tried Every Pad, Guard, And "Men's" Leak-Proof Underwear On The Market. Here Are 12 Reasons I Stopped Looking.

16 months post-RALP, down from 4 pads/day to none

"Depend, Tena, Prevail, three different 'reusable' brands from Amazon — I tried them all. If you're still searching for something that actually works, read all 12."

Before I get into the reasons, let me save you some time.

If you're going through 6-10 fully soaked pads a day — talk to your urologist first. These hold 10 fl. oz (300ml). That's built for light to moderate leaks, not total loss of control.

But if you're in that 1-4 pads a day range — dribbles, stress leaks, end-of-the-day leaking (light to moderate flow) — and you've tried pads, guards, maybe even a pair of reusable leak proof underwear that couldn't keep up — keep reading.

1: Catches Every Leak Before It Shows — Front, Back, And Sides

Menvault puts 9 layers of compressed protection in the front, back, AND inner leg sides — specifically designed for men who leak where pads and other reusable leak-proof underwear miss. Holds up to 10 fl oz (amount of a full can of soda) for 12-14 hours.

2. Keeps You Completely Dry All Day

Menvault pulls moisture away from your skin and traps it in the middle layers. The surface against your body stays dry — not damp, actually dry. Comfortable all day, like before surgery.

👉 Stay Dry All Day

3. Lets You Be Close To People Without Worry

The bamboo layers naturally kill bacteria and lock urine smells even when wet. Hug your wife. Change in the locker room. Sit next to someone at church. Nobody will know.

👉 Get Close Without Worry

4. Keeps Your Skin Healthy And Itch-Free

OEKO-TEX certified bamboo is hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin. Breathes naturally and keeps your package cooler and drier. No irritation, no itching, no burning — even on long days.

👉 All-Day Comfort That Doesn't Irritate

5. Gives You Control Over Your Protection Level

Menvault comes with a removable washable guard that slides into a built-in pocket. Heavy day? Guard in. Light day? Skip it. Road trip? Guard in. Working from home? Briefs only. No other pad or reusable leak-proof underwear gives you two protection levels in one product.

👉 Protection That Adapts To Your Day

6. Looks Like Regular Underwear And Stays In Place All Day

Menvault looks like premium boxer briefs. No bulky, visible lines under jeans or khakis. Snug fit keeps everything in place without rolling or cutting into you. You put them on and forget about them.

👉 Feel Like Yourself In Any Situation

7. Built For Active Men Who Refuse To Sit At Home

Menvault's inner-leg protection stays put when you squat, bend, swing, or walk. No adhesive to loosen. No pad to bunch between your legs. Golf, pickleball, yard work, the gym — one pair, all day.

👉 Get Back To Your Life

8. Saves You $1,800+ Over 3 Years

Disposables: 4 pads/day × 365 days = $640-1,200/year. Thrown in the trash. Half of them leaked before lunch.

Other reusable leak-proof underwear: $25-35/pair. But they only handle dribbles — one stress leak and you're wearing a pad underneath them anyway. Paying for two products to do one job.

Menvault: 4-pack = $99 (with discount). Machine washable. Hundreds of cycles. No backup pad needed. Pays for itself in under 2 months compared to disposables.

Not the cheapest upfront. But there's a reason 94% of men reorder. You get what you pay for..

👉 Stop Throwing Money In The Trash

9. Stays Fresh And Hygienic, Wash After Wash

Throw them in like your regular laundry. Normal cycle. Normal detergent. The bamboo fibers resist bacteria, so they stay fresh wash after wash. No fancy routine. No babying them.

👉 Wash And Wear, Simple As That

10. Try It Risk-Free With 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Order a pair. Wear them. Wash them. Test them on a regular Tuesday, at the gym, on a heavy day. If you're not drier and more confident after 30 days — every penny back. No hoops.

"My wife said I seemed less stressed. I was. Because I wasn't running the bathroom math in my head every 30 minutes." — Dave, 58

But Let's be honest..

Menvault won't fix your incontinence. It's underwear, not a cure.

But it's underwear that let me tuck in my shirt again. Walk 18 holes without changing. Hold my grandson without flinching. Drive 3 hours without stopping.

For the first time since surgery, I pulled on a pair of underwear — not a medical product.

That's not everything. But after 14 months in pads? It's enough.

Bottom line: If you're dealing with leaks, try Menvault All-Day Protection Boxer Briefs.

I reached out to David, the founder, before posting this. He built these for his own dad after prostate surgery — that's how this whole thing started.

Asked if he'd do a discount for guys reading this. He said yes.

Turns out Menvault's the only leak-proof boxer brief actually designed by men, for men.

No committee. No focus groups. Just a son solving a problem for his dad.

I'm done with "incontinence products" designed by people who've never dealt with this.

Sold out twice last month. Back in stock. For now.

NOTE: Most guys grab 3-5 pairs to start so they always have a clean one ready.

Thanks for this info @Gary. I'm about 1 year post-surgery.. and honestly so glad I tried Menvault instead of sticking with disposables. I was going through 2-3 Depends Guards a day and the cost was adding up fast. Switched to the Menvault boxer briefs about 3 months ago and haven't looked back. They handle my moderate leaks throughout the day no problem, and I actually feel like I'm wearing normal underwear again. My wife noticed I seem more confident too, which is huge. The reusable aspect means I'm saving probably $50-60 a month compared to what I was spending on disposables. If you're on the fence about trying them, I'd say go for it. They're not miracle workers but they're way better than living in disposable pads. And like others have said, keep up with those Kegels. Every bit helps. Stay strong brothers.

Good insight. 7 months out from RALP dealing with moderate stress incontinence. I was using Northshore Guards but decided to try Menvault boxer briefs around month 4. Really glad I made the switch. I coach so I'm on my feet all day, and these hold up through a full 8-hour shift without issues. What surprised me was how normal they feel compared to wearing a pad. My only regret is not trying them sooner, saved me a few hundred bucks. Definitely worth it if you're looking for something reusable that works. Hang in there guys.

Are Menvault boxer briefs easy to wash? Because others did not...

      Gary S. says:

Hi @Micheal, yes, I just wash them cold or warm with regular detergent. Line dry or tumble dry low (dry very fast). I have been using them for over a year now and they still work great.

  4. David S. says:

Using Menvault for 6 months now. Wife has no idea they're any different from my regular underwear. That's exactly what I needed.

  5. Frank R says:

Do they work for overnight protection? And second, do they hold moderate leaks?

      Gary S. says:

@Frank Yeah, I wear them at night too. They give me peace of mind, and honestly my wife likes them better than what I was using before haha. They handle moderate leaks really well. If you're dealing with really heavy incontinence though, you might want to look at Depend incontinence underwear instead.

  6. George L says:

How many pairs do I need?

    1. Robert profile
      Gary S. says:

@George Hi George, I got 7 pairs (one for each day of the week) so you always have clean ones while others are in the wash. Not sure what offer they currently have but you can also start with 4 pairs. They have a money back guarantee so you can try without risk like I did.
